Description
All VC students are invited to join VC's Counseling Services and Mid-Coast Family Services for Walk A Mile in Her Shoes Immersive Experience.
Participants will be allowed to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by women and girls who have experienced violence. This exhibit holds a diverse collection of written scenarios that allow participants to truly experience what it’s like to attempt to escape an abusive relationship and the challenges faced by survivors who seek help. By stepping into their shoes, both men and women can directly experience the stigma, discrimination, and emotional toll that these individuals often endure.
