Description
The public is invited to celebrate “Texas Girls in STEM Day” with a panel discussion highlighting women's experiences in STEM fields. Hear from three inspiring women in STEM from The Nature Conservancy in Texas! Kaitlin O’Brien-Friesenhahn, Kathy Sweezey, and Teal Coppock bring a wealth of experience in conservation, restoration, and development, working to protect and preserve the diverse ecosystems of Texas.
Local high school students and community members are welcome to hear the panelists discuss their STEM journeys and careers.
Texas recognizes March 1 as Texas Girls in STEM Day to celebrate and encourage girls to participate in STEM fields.
